Teaching about Careers in Jobland

My district is gearing up for Take Your Child to Work day.
Now that I am teaching 5th, I am really hoping to have more students participate in going to work with a family member than when I taught 3rd grade.

There are always students who aren't able to go to work with an adult, so this year my building has decided to have a day of career education.

I found this great website about different career paths.

Click the image to go to the website.
There is a dog that guides you through Jobland.
Each career path has a list of jobs.
When you choose a job, it has written info about each job.

It also has a career quiz to guide kids to the career path they have the most in common with.

What activities does your school have for kids to learn about careers?
