I have been creating a few things that were just time consuming. Some are finished some are not. : /
Mostly I have been 'creating' my grad school final. Almost there! Anyone else who is in grad school over the summer, keep working.
Now onto the fun stuff!
1: Binders
I feel like teachers use either file cabinets or binders. I am solidly a binder person. (That way I can easily take my materials home.)
Last year I changed grade levels, and didn't organize my life well. I ended the year with a pile of stuff I used. (Not putting a picture of that!)
So I put together my set of binders.
These are just a few of them. |
Here is a page inside one of the binders. |
In each binder I have all the standards for my grade level.
Now I have to add all the pages from last year!
(This year I will be more organized!)
2: My Garden
I LOVE to garden.
Each year I go out in search of something different.
This year my garden started with this petunia.
'Cherry Cheesecake' |
I am not the only one enjoying the flowers! |
My garden isn't complete, until the pink flamingos are out! |
This was my last addition to my garden. It's purslane. |
What have you been creating lately?

Your binders are cute and organized. :)
ReplyDeleteSo in all the times I have been over your house, I don't think I have ever seen your garden.
I knew you liked to garden but didn't realize you had that many flowers.
They look awesome!
Antoinette :)
oh your binders and your gardens are just gorgeous!! I really like how you have your binders organized, what a smart way to do that :)
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so pretty. I love the Cherry Cheesecake, we have some at my house that are yellow like that called Lemondrops.

Oh my goodness, your garden looks beautiful! Can you please come landscape my yard?! :D
ReplyDeleteLove your binder covers, too! I just created some binder pages to get myself better organized this year. Let's hope it works! ;)

Me, too! Me, too! I love binders, too! I also did some binder beautifying this week. Your flowers are lovely. I wish I didn't murder every plant I come across. I don't know why I can't keep plants alive! One of my goals for my science classroom this year is to have a plethora of flowers and plants. I'm even thinking of having the kids plant some carrots in 2-liters {Pinterest, of course}.
ReplyDeleteLooks great!
